He has published numerous articles on time management, Leadership, individual/team productivity, and work/life balance for newspapers such as the Washington Post, NY Post, and Charlotte Observer. 

Finally he has been on such TV programs as Money Matters and This Week in Business.

Over the years he has advised such clients as Hertz, AT&T, The Federal Reserve, The US Treasury, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Phillip Morris, Toys R Us, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, AIG. and Fidelity Investments.

He has become one of the top experts on time management, organization, communication, and management effectiveness because of his thirteen years of research. He has done more research than any other author on the subject of organizing and time management.

During his career he has been in senior management with such firms as Pillsbury, Hughes, Quaker Oats, Merrill Lynch, and Dean Witter.

His engaging teaching style of blending humor with information has made him popular on the speaking circuit and in the classroom.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1977 with a BS in Business and a minor in Communications. He was also on the Varsity football team there. He has a MA in Advertising with a minor in Finance from the University of Illinois.

He currently resides in Cornelius, NC with his wife Mary Beth, eight-year old son Zachary, and five-year old son Nicholas.
